SDA is designed for individuals with extreme functional impairment or very high support needs. It offers accessible features to promote independence and facilitate support delivery. SDA funding is for the housing itself, not for services or supports.
SIL provides support to help participants live more independently in their own homes or in shared housing. This can include assistance with daily tasks and accessing community activities.
This provides temporary accommodation and support for participants when their usual caregivers need a break or when they are exploring new living options.
MTA provides temporary housing for participants while they wait for their long-term housing solution to become available. It is typically funded for up to 90 days while the participant is waiting for their disability-related supports and a confirmed long-term housing solution.
